Introduced in January of 2005. Apple wanted to continue to change the way we listen to music. The iPod Shuffle 1st Generation. These are much more rare than their successors are.
I tried to restore it as best i could. There is wear on the plastic as expected. Its not perfect, but it is better than when I first got it.
The only issue i have with it has to do with the headphone jack. I had to put in the headohones, and slightly pull out to be able to listen. Like just a tiny amount. I messed around with it, and attached a little piece to the tip of the jack, and had no issues.
USB cap is sturdy.
Buttons have a good click to them.
Ready to connect to iTunes for songs to be added(if not a collector).
Back slide button works with pressure. Push and slide down to choose on/off, shuffle, or standard.
Condition is good. Yes, as with these products some chips/scratches are common. It is 17 years old.
It is a piece of “Steve Jobs Apple” history. Good to collect!
