I have made and sold 20 comic covered guitars (some just bodies, some complete guitars). This is a time consuming project that takes me 15 -20 hours.
This is a Brand New Telecaster Tele TL Body that has been covered with individual comic book panels (not a wrap). Spiderman and Lizard. Sealed with 4 coats of clear lacquer. Body weighs 2 pounds, 4.9 ounces. Looks like mahogany or similar wood.*** THE COMPLETE BACK WILL BE PROTECTED WITH A 1/16" PIECE OF CLEAR ACRYLIC *** (not shown in photos because of glare)
