Item set does have one small issue: 1 of the rubber gaskets on the end of a bar has been worn thru. It has been like this since the day I acquired it. It is easily replaceable.
You can put all the weights on one dumbbell and do a one-arm workout with 30 LBS on one arm, or you can split the weights up and do one in each hand.
